Treatment systems for the home can vary widely in price, ranging from $25 for faucet-mounted carbon filters, to several thousand dollars for a top-of-the-line ion-exchange water softener.
Painting the interior of your home
Painting a room is a fairly simple procedure. As a rule, the walls are painted with a flat latex, while the trim is done in a semigloss latex or alkyd (AL-kid) enamel.
Is my thermostat working properly?
Home thermostats are temperature-sensitive switches that control a furnace or air conditioner. Many thermostats can be inaccurate by just a few degrees, but unless there is a noticeable problem, only a costly procedure can determine the proper temperature reading you should have in your home.
