Wilco will love you, baby
Critics have called Wilco the "American Radiohead." Whether or not that musical association stands to reason (one could see how the theory could be successfully argued), the nationality certainly does, right down to a love for the quintessential American pastime.

Kweller keeps us guessing
Ben Kweller's been the can-do kid for so long that maybe we've started to take his precocious pop talents for granted. So, it's good that he's reminding us. Kweller, who plays at Turner Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 18 with the fab-o Watson Twins, has a new record that is nothing like you expect and he's keeping the inspiration flowing with his Web series of short works.

Gig roundup: Wakeling going strong after 30 years
Thirty years from "Stand Down Margaret," Birmingham, England's Dave Wakeling is still fronting a band called The English Beat, albeit one populated entirely with different members. And, he says, he's still having fun.
