What is EPSDT?
EPSDT, or Early & Periodic Screening,
Diagnosis, & Treatment, helps parents of children on Medicaid
make the most of their health care benefits by helping
families determine if their children have any problems as soon
as possible. EPSDT is FREE access to good health care for children who have a current Medicaid card.

When should my
child see a doctor?
Children who get regular health checks live
healthier lives. That’s because any problems they may have are
found before they get worse. Children should see their
doctors and dentists regularly, even if they aren’t sick.
