[edit] Articles needing review
- Jock I've just tagged it as part of the Sociology project, I'm not sure, but as it is a youth sub-culture, I thought it would belong here. Unfortunately it portrays jocks entirely as a media stereotype, an artificial plot device, when anyone whose been to school knows that there is usually a clearly identifiable group of (usually male) students who are known to be athletes. Unfortunately the article also portrays being a jock as being entirely negative, earning the article a POV tag per talk page consensus. Its unfortunate, the entire article reads like a "In Popular Culture" section. I'll do what I can, but at the moment the article is almost exclusively devoted to explaining how jocks are perceived in movies, books etc. I think that and article like Goth is a good guide to follow here. --Pstanton (talk) 03:42, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
- Stalking had become a mess, with the addition of tendentious material and general cruft including a huge "popular culture" section and at least one example of deliberate misinformation. I've hacked away at it, and tried to get some semblance of a decent article out of it. Two sections of the article are still mere lists, once completely unreferenced. Could someone please review this article? -- The Anome (talk) 12:39, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Babywise (HELP WANTED!!! This article was originally posted by bias critics of the book On Becoming Babywise and needs non-bias edits. By "bias critics" I mean that much of the contribution to this article has been done by a person who openly opposes "Babywise" and the authors of this book on blogs, forums, as well as the source cited as a "Major site critical of". I can identify this editor of more than half of the historical changes to this article from the same IP addresses as were found in comments this person left on my personal blog within hours of editing this article. This same person is a moderator of the forum linking in the article as "Ezzo Parenting Discussions". The bias nature of the article can easily be seen in the fact that no official source for "Babywise" or the author was added to this article in the first five months of its existence even though sources to sites critical of the book were added from the IP address of the person mentioned above. I am personally bias in favor of the subject of this article.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheOzz (talk • contribs)
