Official CommunicationsEffective February 12, 2008, your student myUTSAmail email account (powered by Google) is your official means of communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio regarding Financial Aid, Registrar, and Fiscal Services. Email communications to and from these departments will be addressed via a student's myUTSAmail email address. Any communication received via email from an outside source (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc…) in regards to specifics of a student account will be returned indicating this new policy. General questions in regards to policy, processes, forms, etc…, will be answered regardless of origination. This policy falls under FERPA, (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) which prohibits release of any specific and non-directory information without the written consent of the student. Your official UTSA email address, along with your email username and initial password, can be found on the ASAP Welcome page just after you log in. If you are locked out or have forgotten your password for myUTSAemail, you can contact Enrollment Services at 458-8000 to have it reset.
