Georgia

BP Georgia’s ninth annual sustainability report covers activities for BP Georgia, focusing on performance in 2013 while providing information on developments in 2014.

In 2013 BP Georgia ran the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, the South Caucasus Pipeline, the Western Route Export pipeline pipelines and the Supsa marine terminal efficiently, while maintaining a good safety record.

We will continue to put the management of safety and operational risk at the heart of what we do. BP’s values of safety, respect, excellence, courage, and one team were promoted to our contractors. We not only provide contracts and employment for local businesses but also work with them to promote better employment practices.

We continue developing capacity through our sustainable development projects, including support for business start-ups.

We believe sustainability reporting is a valuable part of engaging with stakeholders, enabling us to inform people about what we have done and gather feedback on how we can improve. The report, as in previous years, has been independently verified by Ernst & Young.

We welcome feedback on this report. You can write to us at the address below, marked for the attention of the Communications and External Affairs team, or send an e-mail to us at bpgeosust@bp.com.
