The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) is committed to protecting the information provided to us by our members, visitors to this website, and other individuals who we may interact with at trade shows and public forums. This Online Privacy Policy explains how we use both personal, financial and company information and anonymously aggregated data.

The membership list of Free Speech Coalition members is confidential information that will not be shared with anyone not authorized to receive it by the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. FSC does not divulge to anyone the individual or company names of its members.

Our written and online membership forms requests personal and company information, including name, address, telephone number, email, company name and DBAs. We do not share, sell or provide such information to anyone. We also collect financial information, such as credit card numbers, corporate and personal checks, PayPal account information, and the like. We do not share this information with anyone, and use it only for the purposes of paying membership dues, donations, or the financing of special projects and fundraisers.

We also ask members to fill out surveys, for purposes ranging from gathering opinions regarding specific issues to more personal data that helps us understand who our members are and the positions and policies of most concern to them. We may aggregate the data in order to derive collective statistics that we share with other associations and the public, but we do not sell, share or provide any individual or company information or data from such surveys to anyone.

We may collect information, such as names, company names and email addresses, from visitors to our website who want to view members-only material. We do not sell, share or provide any visitor information, and use it internally only for membership development or to aggregate statistical data about visitors to our site.

We occasionally conduct letter-writing campaigns, during which we ask for names and email addresses of those participating in the campaigns. We do not sell, share or provide any of this information, and use it internally only for membership development or to aggregate statistical data about our letter-writing campaigns.

We collect information for use processing membership applications at trade shows, industry events and other public forums. We do not sell, share or provide any of this information with anyone or any institution not authorized to receive it for purposes of membership development or processing the financial transaction, such as Card Services.

Members of the Free Speech Coalition must be 18 years of age or older. We do not solicit or collect any information from individuals under the age of 18.

We send print and electronic copies of several publications to members and non-members. These publications include the Free Speaker, the Free Speech X-Press, and the Memo-to-Members. We also occasionally send email correspondences to our membership for the purposes of soliciting information or alerting them to certain issues. Members and non-members both are allowed to opt-out from receiving any of these publications or correspondences at any time. We do not share email addresses or postal addresses of members or non-members with anyone.

Our website and publications contain links to other association and company websites. We are not responsible for the actions of those sites, or the collection and use of data about visitors gathered by those sites.

All FSC members are provided with a My Account page on the Free Speech Coalition website, which is accessible through the use of a secure user name and password. We do not share with anyone any of the information contained on that page or any member’s user name and password.

The personal and company information and data we collect about you is stored on a secure, password-protected server. We use industry-standard encryption technologies with respect to the receipt and transfer of information and data you submit to us on the Free Speech Coalition website, and only authorized personnel have access to that information. Nevertheless, despite our best efforts, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We will update this Privacy Policy as needed, and recommend that our members check back occasionally.

Protecting the privacy and anonymity of our members is a priority of the Free Speech Coalition.
