April 3, 2007 - Canoga Park, CA - On Friday March 30th, Colorado Federal District Court Judge Walker Miller issued an interim ruling dismissing some causes of action and allowing others to proceed in light of the Adam Walsh Act amendments to 18 U.S.C. ? 2257 signed into law on July 27, 2006.


3/30/2007ICM PROPOSAL FOR .XXX DENIED
March 30, 2007 - In a decision made Friday March 30th at the ICANN board meeting, the board voted 9 to 5 to reject ICM?s proposal for a .XXX top level domain. This appears to be the final decision by ICANN as Board Chair Vinton Cerf said that they would not consider another proposal for a .XXX top level domain.


3/26/2007Utah Child Protection Registry Injunction Denied
In a disappointing decision announced Friday March 23rd, Utah Federal District Court Judge Dale Kimball ruled that Utah?s ?Child Protection? Registry [CPR] may remain open until the case goes to trial. The current law makes it a crime, with jail time attached, for adult material of any nature to be emailed, even if requested, if any household member has listed the email address with the registry.
