Description
The Nexus, Part 3 is basically, and from every point of view, a film. It represents a possible future explosion in the hobby, or possibly business of home movie making. This short film is not a fully CG creation, it is actually a showcase of real footage combined with visual effects. The movie, therefore, is also a presentation of acting, directing, and studio work. A studio was arranged, complete with a blue screen, professional grade lights and devices, to accomodate this difficult process of creation. The movie took a long time to film and the work done by the people involved was considerable. Features: -Blue Screen CGI Effects (used to place the actor's characters in exotic places). -Non-Blue Screen CGI Effects (Weapons Bursts, Explosions, Machinery, Fights, etc) -Completely CG Scenes (a fight in orbit of a planet). -Teleportation -A Robot used in a large scale fight in an icy region. The movie itself presents a SCI-FI/Action story, set in the near future. It presents the continuation of the events in an earlier movie (The Nexus). The story presents a simple yet essential fight for surival, involving three people and an entire world of machines. We hope to have achieved our goal and to impress anyone watching it. We have worked very hard and spent a lot of time working on it and hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
