The gay and lesbian memory in action [gala] are collecting opinions/ideas and perspectives, from a range of different people, on what they think and feel about the recent passing of the Civil Unon act in South Africa. The Civil Union Act enables same sex couples to get married and was passed into law on the 30th november 2007.

OPINION – August 16, 2007: This is women’s month! Many of us thought there is no ‘cause for celebration’. But some brave and courageous activists asserted that we have much to celebrate, and inspired us by showing a list of what to celebrate.
