The leaktest has no GUI
Breakout v1 ('SendMessage' API) :
Detected by Antivirus as Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Small.ip
THIS IS NOT A VIRUS
download password protected archive (pass = leaktest)
Leaktest description
|
Breakout sends to the IE's address bar the URL to launch, via the 'SendMessage' Windows API.
No code is injected, it's unfortunately once again a nice "feature" from the Windows Operating
System. Very hard to prevent for a firewall.
|
Meaning
|
If the test is a success, this means that your firewall does not check for the 'messages'
sent to your applications windows.
|
Breakout v2 (Active Desktop) :
Detected by Antivirus as Trojan.Win32.Agent.oc
THIS IS NOT A VIRUS
download password protected archive (pass = leaktest)
Leaktest description
|
Breakout creates locally an html page pointing to the target url. Then, it enables Active Desktop
and set the html page as the desktop wallpaper. No firewall tested passed this breakout variant.
|
Meaning
|
If the test is a success, this means that your firewall does not check for Active Desktop abuse.
