HOAP
The current focus of HOAP is to increase healthy behavior
within identified health disparate
populations in Boulder County. To accomplish this, HOAP staff
will:

Provide training
and informational resources on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered,
intersexed, and questioning (LGBTIQ) issues to medical and mental
health professionals, agencies that serve the LGBTIQ population,
community members, and school personnel.

Distribute information to the LGBTIQ community
regarding public health issues and service providers.

Provide weekly, confidential support/educational
groups for LGBTIQ youth in Boulder County.

Provide training and informational resources on
healthy sexuality and family planning.

Promote healthy family development in Boulder
County and reduce the incidence of unintended pregnancy.
