Landmine Survivors Network is on the steering committee of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), a coalition of more than 1,000 humanitarian, religious and development groups that won the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize.

In February of 1998, Landmine Survivors Network was asked to chair the ICBL's first Global Task-Force of Victim Assistance.

The Campaign calls for a total ban on the production, stockpiling, export and use of anti-personnel mines. During the past few years, landmine survivors around the world have helped the campaign achieve an international treaty to ban landmines, signed in December 1997. LSN keeps an up-to-date listing of all treaty signatories on this site.
