The Informal Meeting between ASEAN Leaders and Representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) 23 October 2009 On 23 Ocober 2009 ASEAN Leaders had an informal meeting with Representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel, Cha-am, Thailand. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Abhisit Vejjajiva, Prime Minister of Thailand, and was attended by ASEAN Heads of State/Heads of Government. H.E. Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, the Secretary-General of ASEAN, also presented at the Meeting.

THE Second Meeting of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Council The ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council held their second meeting on 22 October 2009. The Meeting was chaired by His Excellency Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Meeting was represented by Socio-Cultural Ministers from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Singapore and Viet Nam with high level representative from Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia. Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, Secretary-General of ASEAN also attended the Meeting.
