UT Cougars
Formed in 1985, the Titans made an impact in their second year, earning a position in the playoffs.
In 1988-89 the renamed Demons again lost in the first round of the playoffs. However, the next season, they went on to a victory in College Bowl IV, defeating Birmingham 21-20.
In 1990-91 Teesside was undefeated and cruised to a 19-0 College Bowl V victory over East Anglia. As favourites for a third consecutive title, the Demons were upset 8-0 in the 1992 playoffs by Glasgow.
Since those glory days, Teesside has failed to finish above the middle of the pack. Until 200 where the UT Cougars reached the northern plate. 2007 where College Bowl finalist where they were beaten by the Stags. Since then the Cougars have continued to feature in the playoffs.
