Gut, Geschmäcker sind verschieden, aber zu manchen Dingen hat dann doch fast jeder eine Meinung. Zum Beispiel zu Mr. Redcap Fred Durst. Der Mann, der Rapmetal nach Ansicht vieler zu einem Schimpfwort machte, bläst für 2010 zum großen Limp Bizkit-Wiedervereinigungsalbum. Wir erinnern uns: Gitarren-Querulant Wes Borland kehrte vor einem Jahr in den Schoß seiner tätowierten Freunde zurück.

Da hätten sich eigentlich viele lustige Albumtitel angeboten, etwa "Still Rollin' After All These Years" oder "LB is 4 Life", letzteres eines von Dursts liebsten Tweets des abgelaufenen Jahres (dicht gefolgt vom Cheers-ähnlichen Motivationsappell "Bring It").

Doch Cheffe hat anders entschieden: Das Album wird "Gold Cobra" heißen. Fraglos eine Spur mysteriöser als etwa "Results May Vary" und phonetisch irgendwo zwischen Indiana Jones und Yps-Sonderheft. Wann Fred das Geheimnis der Gold Cobra lüftet, entscheidet wie immer Fred.

Alben, auf die sich die Stamm-Redaktion einigen kann, sind indes andere: So vollbrachte Alleskönner Damon Albarn für das neue Gorillaz-Album das kleine Kunststück, Lou Reed, Mos Def, Barry Gibb und Bobby Womack als Gäste zu empfangen. Night Fever, Night Fever.

Beim Zusammentragen dieser natürlich nicht vollständigen Liste kommender Veröffentlichungen lief uns ohnehin das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Oder wie soll der Körper sonst auf Namen wie Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Beatsteaks, Interpol, Deftones, Goldfrapp, Massive Attack oder The Strokes reagieren? Selbst Johnny Cash gibt sich von Wolke Sieben ein weiteres Mal die Ehre.

Und da reden wir noch gar nicht von den Hip Hop- bzw. Metal-Perlen, über die allerdings ohnehin nur unsere Experten und nicht wir Indie-Honks fabulieren sollten. Dass Outkast-Checker Big Boi und gerüchtehalber auch dessen Compadre André 3000 2010 solo auftrumpfen wollen, wissen aber sogar wir zu diggen. Und was das Edele-, pardon, Metal-Genre angeht: Da freuen wir uns hier immerhin auf die Killer-Filmdoku "Anvil". In diesem Sinne: Auf gloriose Veröffentlichungen in 2010. We Care A Lot!
