Reclaimer needs access to the UNSC datanets, but first some repairs are in order.  And of course, it's not as simple as just plugging some stuff in or turning a bolt.  That would be far too easy.

If you submitted a screenshot for the Mythic Recon screenshot contest, sit tight.  We're going to pour through the pile this week, pluck out some winners, and notify them via PM.  Since there were so many participants, please exercise some patience.  We're looking at having our selections made and the winners notified by Friday.

In the meantime, please hold off on PMing us for details.  We won't have any.  You'll just be delaying the process and probably ruling yourself out from consideration.

HaloTutorial made a video of some racing on bam3214's custom Sandbox track, "Quantum."  This one's a bit more advanced than most, with tight quarters, banks, and broken track that requires drivers to hang on tight.  Video contains annotation with an expletive, but if you're not offended by such things, the embed and link to the Map Variant are listed below.

As of this very instant, those looking to work out the stress and tension built up from this week's work can exorcise their demons in the Team Melee Double EXP Playlist.  It's been updated to include a team-oriented version of Punchout, previously branded "Black Friday" in the Turkey Day Playlist from last November.

Team Melee is available from 11am PDT April 16th (today) and runs until 2am Monday morning.  Heroic, Legendary, and Cold Storage are required.  Mythic is optional.

Tyrant once again wrote in to let us know that yet another record time has fallen in his level-by-level Halo 3 "Mythic" competition.  This time out, 'Halo' was taken down in 12:27.  Pretty incredible considering most players can't even complete a single level on this difficulty setting.  For his efforts, this week's winner gets his very own Mythic Map Pack.
