Chirinkotan

Chirinkotan (Остров Чиринкотан) is a small island of 6 km² in area, measuring 3 km across and reaching a height of 724 m. The island is located in the Northern Kuril Islands, some 25 km west from the island of Ekarma. The steep sided island is dominated by two conical peaks and a caldera of around 1 km in width and 300 to 400 m in depth.
