Rasshua

Measuring 13 km by 6 km and covering an area of 67 km², Rasshua (Остров Расщуа) is located within the Central Kuril Islands 30 km southwest from Matua and 16 km from the small islands that make up the Ushishir group. The island consists of overlapping volcanic cones that rise to a height of 948 m. The tall cliffs and steep slopes of the western coasts are clearly visualised in the large size image.
