Ekarma

Ekarma (Остров Зкарма), located in the Northern Group of the Kuril Islands, lies 8.5 km off the west coast of the twin-lobed island of Shiashkotan, from which it is separated by the Ekarma Strait. Measuring 5 km by 7.5 km, with an area of 30 km², the island rises steeply from the sea to the 1,170 m high summit of its western volcano.
