Matureivavao, Tuamotu Archipelago

Matureivavao is the easternmost, and largest, of a tight linear grouping of small atolls known as the Acteon Group — a grouping that also includes Vahanga, Tenarunga and Tenararo. The short chain of atolls is located in the far southeastern regions of the archipelago, spanning across 47 km of the south Pacific.

Matureivavao is situated 15 km southeast from Vahanga and 73 km west from Marutea Sud. Its small motu have a total area of 2.5 km².
